This motorcycle tour is the crème de la crème of everything that northern Colombia has to offer. Dive deep and explore the magic of this still mostly undiscovered area.

Day 1

Where: Santa Manta - Mayapo

Riding hours: 4.5

Highlights Include:

  • Boat tour of a flamingo sanctuary.

  • Well-earned lunch in Riohacha.

  • Sunset on the deserted Mayapo beach.

Day 4

​​

Where: Cabo de la Vela - Palomino

Riding hours: 5

Highlights Include:

  • Tour of Manaure indigenous salt fields.

  • Lunch in Riohacha.

  • Tour of the Camarones Flamingo park.

  • Sunset & cocktails on Palomino beach.

Day 7

​​

Where: Mendihuaca - Paso del Mango

Riding hours: 3.5

Highlights Include:

  • Technical enduro riding through the jungle to a hidden waterfall.

  • A quick stop at some ancient rock carvings.

  • Tour of an artisanal cacao/chocolate farm.

  • Tour of a beautiful wildlife reserve.

Day 10

Where: Mompox - Rincón del Mar

Riding hours: 5

Highlights Include:

  • Big mixed terrain day with twisty highway and hill climbs, medium enduro trails, and river crossings.

  • Night time bioluminescent plankton tour.

Day 13

Where: Cartegena - Santa Marta

Riding hours: 4

Highlights Include:

  • Mud bathing at Totumo Volcano.

  • Lunch at the Magdalena river mouth outside Barranquilla.

  • Arriving back in Santa Marta around 4pm.

  • Optional end-of-tour celebratory dinner.

Day 2

 

​​Where: Mayapo - Punta Gallinas

Riding hours: 5.5

Highlights Include:​

  • Hours of amazing desert enduro riding.

  • Visit the towering Taroa sand dunes.

  • Campfire out under the desert stars.

Day 5

Where: Palomino - Buritaca

Riding hours: 4.5

Highlights Include:

  • Visit a Kogui indigenous village.

  • Hours of awesome single and double-track trails to Quebrada del Sol.

  • All-you-can-drink tubing at Rio Hostel.

Day 8

Where: Paso del Mango - Minca

Riding hours: 4.5

Highlights Include:

  • Test your enduro skills on the back way up to Minca.

  • Cool down in Marinka waterfall.

  • Epic Colombian barbecue at Camaritas Smokehouse.

Day 11

Where: Rincón del Mar

Riding hours: 0 (Rest Day)

Highlights Include:

  • Awesome outdoor activities. Fishing, snorkeling, paddle-boarding and more.

  • Home-cooked family meal at our private beach resort.

Day 3

Where: Punta Gallinas - Cabo de la Vela

Riding hours: 4

Highlights Include:

  • Hours of epic off-road riding fun.

  • Optional wooden boat river crossing.

  • Sunset from the lighthouse viewpoint.

  • Fresh seafood and lobster for dinner.

Day 6

Where: Buritaca - Mendihuaca

Riding hours: 0.5 (Rest day)

Highlights Include:​

  • Lazy morning by the river.

  • Short ride to our luxury beach resort.

  • Chill poolside or organize a non-moto activity for the afternoon.

Day 9

Where: Minca - Mompox

Riding hours: 6.5

Highlights Include:

  • Early start today to eat up some highway.

  • Hours of backroad gravel fun.

  • Wooden canoes across Magdalena river.

  • Sunset boat cruise along the river.

Day 12

Where: Rincon del Mar - Cartagena

Riding hours: 3.5

Highlights Include:

  • Cruise up the highway to Cartagena.

  • Enjoy some time taking in the old city.

  • Sunset from the walls of the old city.

  • Fine dining at our favorite restaurant.

Want to push your enduro skills to the limit? Ask us about adding a day for the journey to the desert oasis of Macuira National Park.

 

Be prepared for multiple hours of riding in deep, unpacked sand.
