On this San Gil motorcycle tour, you will dive deep and connect with the second-largest canyon on the planet. The Chicamocha canyon boasts some of the most awe-inspiring views and landscapes in the world, and is home to a rich, unique, and incredibly welcoming culture. On this adventure motorcycle tour, you will find a good mix of on and off-road riding that will leave you wanting more. The night of camping at the canyon's depths is a truly amazing experience, and the ride out in the morning is just as perfect. An awesome, moto-camping experience for all.

Day 1

Start: 9 am

Where: San Gil - Barichara - Jordan
Riding hours: 4.5

Highlights Include:

  • Rip up hidden off-road trails to Barichara.

  • Take a tour of historic & beautiful Barichara.

  • Delicious lunch at Gringo Mike’s-Barichara.

  • Criss-cross gravel trails down into the Chicamocha Canyon.

  • See how tobacco is cured on a local farm.

  • Camping, bonfire and BBQ at night, deep in the canyon.

Day 2

Start: 9 am

Where: Jordan - Chocolo - Curiti - San Gil

Riding hours: 4
Highlights Include:

  • Cruise up from Jordan to a waterfall stop-off.

  • Try the famous “arepa de chocolo”.

  • Waterfalls and swimming-holes delight at Pescaderito.

  • Lunch and a look at some local agave crafts in Curiti.

  • Mixed-terrain carving on twistys & trails to San Gil viewpoint.

Finish: 5 pm
